Upon downloading the Child Care Attendance app, it’s important to make sure certain iOS features are established for notifications, access, and more. You can use any device running iOS 13 (and later) including iPhones and iPads to access the app.
If you are a family member looking to view your student's schedule, pay your invoice or manage your account, please visit your district's Eleyo website.
General Note: When choosing what devices to purchase, we advise choosing iPads of the most recent two generations. This ensures compatibility while providing the longest support from Apple.
Downloading the App
- Launch the app store on your iOS device
- Enter Eleyo Child Care Attendance into the search bar
- Select the Eleyo Child Care Attendance app icon. Important Note: Be sure to select the app where the icon is the green circle with the white checkmark.
- Select the download option
Enabling Notifications
Enabling notifications upon downloading allows site staff to receive real-time data syncing, even when the app is not currently in use.
Navigate to Settings on your iPad/iPhone
- Tap Apps
- Tap Attendance
- Tap notifications
- Under notifications
- Tap allow notifications
- Tap the alerts you would like enabled
- Lock screen
- Notification center
- Banners
- Tap sounds and badges for notifications
Allowing Access
After downloading the Child Care Attendance app, it’s important to allow the app access to certain iOS features including cellular data and background refresh.
Navigate to Settings on your iPad/iPhone
- Tap Apps
- Tap Attendance
- Under Attendance
- Tap background app refresh on
- Tap cellular data on (if available) Note: Cellular data reliability can be impacted by physical location.
Note — When prompted later, allow the app access to additional iOS features like the device’s camera.
