Programs may allow families to request scheduled or unscheduled Drop-in Care as part of an existing Consistent, Pick Your Days, Pick Your Weeks or Drop-in Only contract. There are enhanced features for allowing Drop-In Care at the Site level.
Enable/Disable Drop-ins by Contract Type
- Point to Child Care
- Select Registration Options
- Select the desired Registration Option and select Modify Option.
- Select the Advanced Options (gear icon) next to each Schedule Type that is enabled
- Set Allow Drop in Days to be Requested to Yes to enable online drop-in requests or No to disable online drop-in requests.
- In the field Days Before Drop-In Can Be Requested set the number of calendar days before an account owner can request a scheduled drop-in online.
- Select Done Editing Options for that first contract schedule type.
- Update the Advanced Options for any other contract schedule types where you allow online drop-in requests.
- Select Save

Enable/Disable Drop-ins for each Site Section
When Allow Drop-ins Days is enabled within a Program's Registration Options, individual Sites may also enable or disable Drop-ins as needed for online requests and/or for requests being made through the Child Care Attendance app. Use the following steps to set those at the Site Section:
- Point to Child Care
- Select Sites
- Select the desired site then select Modify Site.
- Within each Site Section, select the desired Drop-in setting(s). If Allow Drop-ins is set for Yes, additional Drop-in options will be displayed to enable Online Drop-In Requests and/or On-Site Drop-In requests from the Child Care Attendance app. If set to No, those additional choices will be hidden.
- Once the settings for each Site Section is updated, select Save
