Teams have been asked to report names and attended dates when they are providing snacks or other food items to students attending child care. Often, they only need the data for students who attended in the afternoon (when the snacks/food was provided). If a student has a contract that includes more than an afternoon/PM section, it can be difficult to filter a list of contracts for only attending in the afternoon.
You can run a Child Care Roster for one or more Site Sections and include Attended Dates. If you go to Child Care > Site Sections, you can filter for the sections that are only afternoon/PM. From there, you can run a Roster report with the following settings:
- Change the Paper Type/Orientation to Landscape (to make it easier to see the information).
- Make the dates whatever date range being reported on.
- Change the Include Date Columns to Yes and select the 21 option.
- Change Mark Attendances to Yes.
- For the Columns, it is suggested that you make the first one Account Ident (for the child care account number). Make the second one Name and make the last one Contract Schedule. It should look like the screen shot below.
When you run that report for each Site Section, it will show an X for each date the student attended. The squares will be shaded on dates they're not scheduled at all. The square will be blank if they did not attend. At the bottom of the report, it will have the numeric totals for each date showing how many attended.
