Attendance or absences for all sections, whether currently running or not, may be recorded, edited or removed from the student's contract on the Administrative side. Attendance created on the Child Care Attendance app includes the name and signature (when captured) of the authorized pick up that signed the student in or out. Attendance records created on the Admin side will only include the date/time details (not the authorized pick up information). Note: Attendance can be updated on the app the same day. It is not possible to remove attendance from the app once the day has passed.
Recording or Editing Attendance from the Administrative side
Use the following steps to add, edit or remove attendance for a Child Care Contract:
- Point to Child Care.
- Select Contracts.
- Search for and select the Contract.
- Select Show Contract.
- Select the Attendance tab.
- Browse to the appropriate month and select Edit Attendances on the top, left side of the screen.
- Select Add New Attendance to create a new record. Use the red Remove icon to delete a record. Note: When attendance is deleted, it can not be retrieved.
- Once all updates are made, select Save
Recording or Editing Absences from the Administrative side
Use the following steps to add, edit or remove absences for a Child Care Contract:
- Point to Child Care
- Select Contracts.
- Search for and select the student then select Show Contract.
- Select the Attendance tab at the top.
- Select Edit Absences from the top left side of the screen. Use the Add New Absence to enter an absence for the Site Section(s) and date(s). Change the details in the displayed fields to correct an absence. Use the red Remove to remove an absence.
- Select Save.
