There are multiple ways to create a new contract from the Admin side of the system. A profile for at least one account owner (parent/guardian) and the child must exist in the system along with a Child Care Account before the contract to be created.
A contract can be created from the Child Care Account show page, the Contract list view (Child Care > Contracts) or from the Site show page (Child Care > Sites > Show Site). When created from the Contract list view or the Site show page, there is a field that will prompt you to enter the child's name in order to connect the new contract to the correct Child Care Account. When creating the contract from the Child Care Account show page, the system defaults to the correct account.
To create a Contract from the Account show page, follow the steps below:
- Point to Child Care.
- Select Accounts.
- Select an account from the list view and select Show Account.
- Select Add Contract.
- Complete the New Child Care Contract form. Note: If you are creating a contract that needs to be in a Pending status (not approved or accepted), ensure on the left in the green that the State shows Pending
- Select Create.
