Administrative Users with appropriate permissions may record attendance for ECFE Course Sections. ECFE Course Section attendance is indicated by date attended for each day the ECFE Course Section runs. When enrollment attendance is added, the system automatically calculates total attendance hours based on an ECFE Course Section's start and end time each day multiplied by the number of dates marked 'attended' for that enrollment.
Attendance may be recorded for ECFE Course Sections only (not including Sibling Care). Courses set up for Individual registration (all students registered within a family are charged a separate fee) will allow attendance for only the registered individual (the student). Courses set up for Family registration (all students registered within a family are charged one family fee) will allow attendance for all members of an attending family.
Record Attendance on the Admin side
- Point to ECFE
- Select Course Sections.
- Search for and select the Course Section to record attendance.
- Select Show Course Section.
- Select the Attendance button.
- Select the date attended and the enrollments to mark as attended on the specified date.
- Select Save
Viewing Attendance from the Administrative side
- Point to ECFE
- Select Course Sections.
- Search for and select the Course Section to view attendance.
- Select Show Course Section.
- Select the Attendance tab from the grey toolbar.
Reports of all Attendance or Individual Attendance
You are able to run an attendance report for all enrolled people or single family using the Enrollment Attendance Export. This report will indicate the number 1 for each date a person has been marked as attending and will be blank for any date where they do not have attendance indicated.
- To run the report for an entire class including all enrolled people, navigate to the Course Section show page and select Run Reports on the right. Select the Enrollment Attendance Export then Run Selected Reports. Select Continue. When the Download button changes to green, select it to open the Excel file.
- To run it for one individual, select the magnifying glass to view their enrollment show page then use the same steps as above.
Printing a Roster to take manual Attendance
- Point to ECFE
- Select Course Sections.
- Search for and select the Course Section to print the attendance for.
- Select Show Course Section.
- Select the Reports button in the top left.
- Select Course Roster.
- Select Run Selected Reports.
- Update any of the Data fields (roster columns, etc) and the desired output format. Ensure the Mark Attendances option is set to Yes.
- Select Continue.
- When the report is finished running, select the Download Finished Report(s) to view, save and/or print. Select Send via Email to send as a link via email.
