An Organization must exist within the Eleyo system in order to use the Assistance feature for payments from outside entities for Child Care (i.e. DES, DHS, County funding, other subsidies, etc). The video is a short introduction to creating a new Organization.
To add an Organization for Child Care Assistance, follow the steps below:
- Point to Contacts.
- Select Organizations.
- Select Add Organization.
- Complete the New Organization form. Change the setting Offers Child Care Assistance to Yes.
- For the setting Automatically Collect Pending Assistance Payments there are 2 options. 1) If when invoicing you want the system to calculate and reflect the amount owed as Pending Assistance on the account and invoices (to be collected at a future date), set the Automatically Collect Pending Assistance Payments as No. 2)If you wish the account and invoices to reflect Other (as though the payments were already received), set that to Yes.
- Select Create.
