When opening or closing a Site Section on the Child Care Attendance app, the attendance, with a timestamp and signature, is immediately available within the Administrative side of the system (as long as the iPad is connected to wi-fi or cellular service). NOTE: When site staff open or close a site section, it is possible to modify the open or close time to align with actual open or close times at a location. As long as wifi signal is strong, the administrative side will display updates on the Child Care Site Dashboard immediately though it may appear as a delay if site staff modified the time backwards.
If an iPad is not connected to wi-fi or cellular service at the time attendance is recorded, the data is stored on the wi-fi and synched during the next connection. If you encounter any issues with the app, please check the wifi status. If you are having further issues, please contact Support for troubleshooting. Important note: Please do not delete the Child Care Attendance app as that can cause data loss.
