When opening or closing a Site Section on the Child Care Attendance app, the attendance (including a timestamp and staff signature) is available within the Administrative side of the system (as long as the iPad is connected to wi-fi or cellular service). NOTE: When site staff open or close a site section, it is possible to modify the open or close time to align with actual open or close times at a location. As long as wi-fi signal is strong, the Administrative side will display updates on the Child Care Site Dashboard though it may appear as a delay if site staff modified the time backwards to reflect an earlier time stamp.
If an iPad is not connected to wi-fi or cellular service at the time attendance is recorded, the data is stored on the app and synchronized during the next connection to the wi-fi.
If you encounter any issues with the app, please check the wi-fi status in the iPad Settings menu. If you are having further issues, please contact Support for troubleshooting. Important note: Please do not delete the Child Care Attendance app as that can cause data loss.
